Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you. US official: Israeli strike targeted air defense radar system for Natanz nuclear facility Israel National News, April 19, 2024

US official tells ABC News that three missiles were fired from Israeli fighter aircraft outside of Iran in Friday morning’s very limited strike.
Three missiles were fired from Israeli fighter aircraft outside of Iran in Friday morning’s very limited strike, a senior US official told ABC News.
The Israelis were targeting an air defense radar site near Isfahan that’s part of the protection of the Natanz nuclear facility, the official said.
The first assessment is that the strike took out the site, but assessment hasn’t been completed, added the official.
The strike was intended to send a signal to Iran that Israel has these capabilities, but was not looking to escalate the situation, according to the official.
An Israeli official told The Washington Post earlier on Friday that the strike on Iran “was intended to signal to Iran that Israel had the ability to strike inside the country.”
The strike was carried out in retaliation for Iran’s Saturday night launch of 350 drones and missiles towards Israeli territory. A full 99% of the launches were intercepted, only five fell in Israeli territory; only one person, a Bedouin child, was injured.
An intelligence source told CNN that that initial estimates are that Iran will not respond to the attack on its territory. Despite this, reports in Israel said that the Israel’s aerial defense system is at peak readiness.

Iran attacks Israel The New York Times, April 14, 2024

Out of the shadows
Iran’s missile attack on Israel has ended, for now, and virtually none of the missiles reached their targets.
Iran last night launched more than 300 drones and missiles in retaliation for an apparent Israeli strike on an Iranian embassy two weeks ago. Iran’s attacks caused minor damage at one military base, and shrapnel seriously injured a 7-year-old girl from an Arab Bedouin community in southern Israel. But Israel intercepted most of the drones and missiles. The U.S. and Jordan also shot some down.
The big question this morning is whether the conflict between the two countries will now return to its previous situation — a long-running shadow war — or enter a more dangerous new stage.
Last night did represent something new: Experts believe it was the first time Iran attacked Israel from Iranian territory. But Iran telegraphed the attack days in advance, and it did not cause extensive casualties — which increases the likelihood that both countries will be willing to de-escalate.
What happened last night
Air-raid sirens sounded across Israel around 2 a.m. Loud booms rang out in Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. Explosions illuminated the night sky as Israel, the U.S. and Jordan intercepted the missiles.
The weapons that Iran used were more sophisticated than those that Hamas (which Iran finances) and other groups have recently fired at Israel. Last night’s weapons “can travel much farther, and some of them can travel much faster,” our colleague Jin Yu Young explained.
Some Iranians gathered in Tehran to celebrate the attack. Others stockpiled fuel.
How leaders responded
Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, wrote on social media: “We intercepted. We blocked. Together we will win.” Hamas expressed support for the attack.
The attacks prompted emergency diplomacy. President Biden expressed “ironclad” support for Israel and planned a meeting with the Group of 7 leaders today. The United Nations Security Council is also expected to convene. Israel’s war cabinet is set to meet today.
Israel’s defense minister said that the confrontation with Iran was “not over.” A top Iranian official wrote on social media: “The matter can be deemed concluded. However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe.”
What the attacks mean
Some analysts said that the attack was mostly performative. Michael Singh, a former senior director for Middle East affairs at the U.S. National Security Council, told The Wall Street Journal, that it was “a slow-moving, thoroughly telegraphed, and ultimately unsuccessful retaliation.”
Other experts called the attack more significant. Ahron Bregman, an expert at King’s College in London, called it an “historic event.” It brought Iran’s long shadow war against Israel into the open. The two rivals have no direct channels of communication, which can lead to dangerous military miscalculations.
One reason to believe Israel may respond: “Any normalization of direct strikes by Iran is intolerable to the Israeli public and leadership,” The Economist magazine wrote. Dana Stroul, the former top Middle East policy official at the Pentagon, said, “Given how significant this attack was, it is difficult to see how Israel cannot respond.”
Understand the shadow war:
Iran largely fights through its proxies, like Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran provides arms, training, and financial aid to more than 20 groups in the Middle East. Israel conducts much of its fighting through espionage and assassinations.
.
One of the critical signs are pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church is the invasion of Israel. This invasion was foretold in Ezekiel 38 – 39, and in Psalm 83:

God, do not keep silent.
Do not be deaf, God; do not be idle.
See how Your enemies make an uproar;
those who hate You have acted arrogantly.
They devise clever schemes against Your people;
they conspire against Your treasured ones.
They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation
so that Israel’s name will no longer be remembered.”
For they have conspired with one mind;
they form an alliance against You—
the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
Moab and the Hagrites,
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek,
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre.
Even Assyria has joined them;
they lend support to the sons of Lot. (Psalm 83:1-8)
What is amazing is that the Book of Ezekiel was written between 593 and 571 BC, and Psalm 38 was written around 1,000 BC. What other religious book has specific prophecies with specific nations, from thousands of years ago, that are manifesting now?
The historically miraculous rebirth of the Jewish state in 1948, after 2,000 years of nonexistence, and the conquering of East Jerusalem during the Six-Day War in 1967 and other factors seems to have set the stage for a time clock for the “last days” of Israel and the fulfillment of many remaining prophecies relevant to that period. And, indeed, today Russia, a great power to Israel’s far north and the Shia Muslim nations, particularly Iran, are growing increasingly intertwined and hostile toward Israel.
Bible scholars have long identified Gog as the leader of Russia, and the land of Magog as Russia.
The invasion of Israel will be primarily motivated by greed for their great wealth. The recent annexation of regions of Ukraine and all of Crimea will be their strategy.

The “hook in the jaw” will be an escalation between Iran and Israel, that will reach the point of no return. As the experts conclude, that ultimate confrontation is inevitable. In fact, it is likely to happen at any moment. Russian will then step in to defend her ally. Putin is inclined to make calculated geopolitical moves, with an impressive sense of timing and optimum use of Russia’s strategic cards.
He is trying to prevent an escalation involving Iran, but when the real war begins, he will use it as an excuse to invade Israel and try to annex it, just like he did with Crimea. This is Gog’s plan – to make Russia great again.

With the preparations for the Ezekiel battle being seen daily in our news headlines, our need to be prepared for the Rapture has never been greater!
Yes, it is coming, and it will happen.” This is the declaration of the Lord God. “This is the day I have spoken about. (Ezekiel 39:8)
Who will defend Israel?
Who do we put our trust in?
The mighty God of the universe calls Himself I AM. In Exodus 3:14, the Bible says, “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM”.

Moses had said, “When I go down to Egypt and the people ask me who sent me, what shall I tell them” (Exodus 3:13). God said, “You tell them that I AM sent you.”
Jesus completed the statement that was given to Moses. Jesus used the same phrase “I AM” in seven declarations about Himself. In all seven, He combines I AM with tremendous metaphors which express His saving relationship toward the world.
First He said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger” (John 6:35).

.
Second, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12).

.
Third, Jesus said, “I am the door” (John 10:9). God has only one door to His Kingdom, and that door is Jesus Christ.

.
Fourth, Jesus said, “I am the true vine” (John 15:1).

.
Fifth, Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (John 10:11).

.
Sixth, Jesus said in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life.”

.
Seventh, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). In John 6:44, He says, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.” This is how we come to God.

.
In these End Times, we choose to put our trust in Jesus – the “I Am“

.
If you are not sure that you are saved, you can accept Christ into your life right now, by praying:
“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you into my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior.”

G7 leaders to discuss Iranian attack in Sunday video call
ROME, April 14 (Reuters) – Italy, which holds the rotating presidency of the G7, has called a video meeting of G7 leaders on Sunday to discuss Iran’s attack on Israel late on Saturday.
The Iranian attack in response to a suspected Israeli air strike on Iran’s embassy compound in Damascus on April 1 has raised the threat of a wider regional conflict.
“We express our deep concern about a further destablisation of the situation in the region and continue to work to avoid that,” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on social media platform X.
The G7 call will be held in the early afternoon European time, an Italian government statement said.
U.S. President Joe Biden has pledged a coordinated G7 diplomatic response to the drone and missile attack, which he condemned, and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he hoped that the Israeli government shows restraint in its response.
“I hope that the Israeli government will adopt a cautious line. I hope that there will be no counterattack to the counterattack,” Tajani told radio station RTL 102.5.
The G7 groups the United States, Canada, Italy, Britain, France, Germany and Japan. Its foreign ministers are scheduled to meet over April 17-19 on the Italian island of Capri.

After the retaliation, comes the retaliation. Israeli officials Monday said they would respond to the astonishing assault carried out two days prior by Iran that saw hundreds of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones launched from Iranian territory toward targets in the Jewish state. The Iranian barrage was successfully fended off by Israeli air defenses, backed by the United States and a number of the regional partners and allies. Nearly all of the Iranian launches were intercepted before they reached Israel. They inflicted no casualties.
For Tehran, the attack was a response to an Israeli operation that killed seven senior Iranian officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps at an Iranian compound in Damascus, Syria. For Israel, the Iranian response demands its own reprisal. Gen. Herzi Halevi, chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, said Monday that “the launch of so many missiles and drones to Israeli territory will be answered with a retaliation.”
What that would look like was unclear at the time of writing, though a new Israeli attack seemed in the cards. Iran and Israel have been locked for years in a tacit shadow war, punctuated by airstrikes, assassinations and acts of sabotage. But the current round of escalation has sharpened the prospect of open war between the two Middle East powers — a volatile explosion that would likely lead to spillover violence across the region.
Iran has signaled that it does not want to engage in a full-blown war, either on its accord or through key proxies like Lebanese Shiite faction Hezbollah. The regime in Tehran seemed to telegraph its retaliatory strike, which was rebuffed by the combined efforts of Israel, the United States, Britain and Arab states like Jordan, and was left claiming, at best, a symbolic victory. Hard-right members of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government called for a forceful response, while other Israeli allies, including President Biden, urged restraint.

The Mid-East Fuse Has Been Lit
By Hal Lindsey
Iran’s promised attack on Israel arrived Friday, April 12th. The world now holds its breath, fearful that an Israeli reprisal will keep that volatile region spiraling toward a greater war. I believe Bible prophecy indicates that the present conflict will not immediately turn into the global conflagration which so many now fear. But it is part of a pattern that will eventually lead to Armageddon.
Before Friday’s attack, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz wrote on social media, “If Iran attacks from its own territory, Israel will respond and attack in Iran.” Iran did exactly what it was warned against. Instead of using its proxies in the region, Iran hit Israel with a massive attack, almost all of which clearly emanated from Iran.
How could they have turned to groups like the Houthis in Yemen to fight for them? The whole point was to try and save face. The Houthis are among the most impoverished people on earth. But they are also Shiite Muslims and funded by Iran. They take their orders from the Ayatollah. They can’t adequately feed their own people, but Iran sends them expensive and sophisticated ballistic missiles which can reach all the way across the vast territory of Saudi Arabia and Jordan and into Israel. If Iran had relied primarily on the poor Houthis and other subordinate Shiite groups to take revenge on Israel, Iran would have seemed afraid to stand up for itself.
The United States and other allies of Israel helped shoot down the barrage of drones and missiles coming out of Iran. President Biden supported Israel’s defensive action, but says he will not support Israel in any kind of military retaliation against Iran. He wants Israel to ignore the fact that Iran just sent over 300 cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones from its own territory directly into Israel.
Ironically, the US told Iran that if it attacks the United States in any way, we will retaliate. Why the double standard? Because if Israel attacks Iran the way Iran attacked Israel, Israel would do it successfully, inflicting massive damage on Iran. They might take advantage of the opportunity and destroy as much of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure as possible. In response, Hezbollah, another Iranian proxy, might join Iran in launching a massive missile attack on Israel. This could mean, not just hundreds, but hundreds of thousands of missiles striking Israel, many from Hezbollah territory in nearby Lebanon.
The growing US presence in the region helped Israel quell the Friday attack, but it made those US assets targets. Should the Shiite coalition successfully strike the US military, it would require a US military response. Would that trigger Iran’s alliances with nuclear powers China and/or Russia? Their involvement could then trigger NATO’s Article 5 and turn the present Middle East conflict into the next World War.
That is why the President is afraid. That’s why world leaders are holding their breaths.
But Ezekiel 38 indicates that both Iran and Israel will be alive and well for the future war it describes. Verse 11 says that Israel will at that time be a “land of unwalled villages.” It says the people there will be “at rest” and “live securely.” That does not describe Israel today, but sounds like the time after Antichrist’s peace treaty with Israel — the treaty which kicks off the seven-year tribulation.
I do not believe the present conflict will immediately escalate into a global conflagration. But it does seem to be part of the general buildup in that direction. The fear and loathing now being experienced by the world’s nations is a fuse that has been lit. It will eventually make them desperate enough to facilitate the rise of Antichrist.

Report: Israel used air-to-surface missile called ‘The Rampage’ in Iran attack
The missile used in the alleged Israeli attack on a military base near the Iranian city of Isfahan overnight Thursday-Friday was a locally-developed air-to-surface missile dubbed The Rampage, according to a Hebrew media report.
The Kan broadcaster reports that The Rampage was identified from photos and also matches the extent of the damage caused in the attack.
The 4.7-meter (15-foot) rocket can also travel at supersonic speed, making it difficult to detect and intercept using air defense systems such as the Iron Dome.
Israel has not officially commented on the strike, while Iran has downplayed the incident and insisted that only three small drones — and no missiles — were involved in the attack on Isfahan.
The Rampage, which weighs over half a ton and was unveiled in 2018, was designed to penetrate into and destroy protected areas, like bunkers, according to its manufacturers, Israeli Military Industries Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries.
The Kan report comes hours after The New York Times said that the alleged Israeli strike on Iranian air defenses near the Natanz nuclear site had used a high-tech missile that was able to evade Iran’s radar systems.
The report cited officials as saying that the move was “calibrated to make Iran think twice” before launching another direct attack on Israel.
