The Feast of Trumpets

The Rapture: the ultimate trip

In this post, we explore some of the main prophetic points of this Holy Day. The Feast of Trumpets symbolizes the Rapture – the last great harvest. In 2023, Rosh Hashana begins at sundown on September 15 and ends at nightfall on September 17.

The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. (Leviticus 23:23-25)

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:50-52)

silver-trumpets-1

According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. (Genesis 1:14-16)

sun-moon ani

Our Sun-Moon system is very special. The sun’s diameter is about 400 times larger than that of the moon – but the sun is also about 400 times farther from Earth. The two therefore look the same size in the sky – a unique situation among our solar system’s eight planets and 166 known moons. Science calls it a remarkable coincidence, but as Christians, we know that the precision of the Lord is 100% design, from an omnipotent Being.

The Lord designed the 7 major Jewish feasts around a lunisolar calendar. A lunisolar calendar is a calendar in many cultures whose date indicates both the moon phase and the time of the solar year.

The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. (Leviticus 23:1-2)

Feasts

Beginning in the spring, the seven Jewish feasts are Passover (Pesach), the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShanah), the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).

The Jewish feasts are closely related to Israel’s spring and fall harvests and agricultural seasons. They were to remind the Israelites each year of God’s ongoing protection and provision. But, even more importantly, they foreshadowed the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Not only did they play significant roles in Christ’s earthly ministry but they also symbolize the complete redemptive story of Christ, beginning with His death on the cross as the Passover Lamb and ending with His second coming after which He will “tabernacle” or dwell with His people forever.

feasts-menorah

While the four spring feasts look back at what Christ fulfilled at His first coming, the three fall feasts point us toward the glory of the second coming. The spring feasts are the source of our hope in Christ—His finished work of atonement for sins—and the fall feasts are the promise of what is to come—eternity with Christ. Understanding the significance of these God-appointed Jewish festivals helps us to better see and understand the complete picture and plan of redemption found in Scripture.

The next unfulfilled feast is the Feast of Trumpets.

Feast-Of-Trumpets

On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets. (Numbers 29:1)

Jewish names and themes for this feast include:

Rosh HaShanah – ‘Head of the year’ / Tishrei 1 is the first day of the Jewish new year in their civil calendar. It is the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve.

Yom Teruah – ‘Day of Awakening Blast’ / Jewish belief is that the resurrection of the dead will occur on the feast of Trumpets.

The Last Trumpet – On this day, there are 100 trumpet blasts. The final, long, and most significant trumpet blast is called ‘the last trump’.

Yom Zikaron – ‘Day of Remembrance’ / A day on which the chosen people remember God, and God remembers them.

Yom Hadin – ‘Day of Judgment’ / God opens the books on that day and judges the righteous and the wicked according to what they had done.

Yom Hamelech – the Day of the Coronation of the King.

The time of Jacob’s trouble – There shall be great tribulation in Israel such as never was since there was a nation.

Yom Hakeseh – The Hidden Day / It was ‘hidden’ because they didn’t know the exact day it would begin due to the fact that it is the only feast that starts on a new moon. Thus it was a two day feast because they didn’t want to celebrate it on the wrong day. Concerning Rosh HaShanah, the Jews would typically say “Of that day and hour no one knows.

The Opening of the Gates of Heaven / The Gate of Heaven is opened on Rosh HaShanah so the righteous nation may enter.

The Wedding of Messiah / The blowing of the heavenly trumpet is a call for the entire, true, bride of God to assemble together.

Now, let’s review some scripture that corresponds to these names of the Feast of Trumpets:

Rosh HaShanah – ‘Head of the year’

Rosh-HaShanah-2017

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted.
For our shield belongs to the Lord,
And our king to the Holy One of Israel. (Psalm 89:15-18)

Yom Teruah – ‘Day of Awakening Blast’

shofar-sounds

Therefore it is said: Get up, sleeper, and rise up from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you. (Ephesians 5:14)

Your dead will live; their bodies will rise.
Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust!
For you will be covered with the morning dew,
and the earth will bring out the departed spirits. (Isaiah 26:19)

The Last Trumpet

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:50-52)

Yom Zikaron – ‘Day of Remembrance’

zikaron

Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another,
And the Lord listened and heard them;
So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord
And who meditate on His name.

“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels.
And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.” (Malachi 3:16-17)

Yom Hadin – ‘Day of Judgment’

prepare_judgement1

The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up from the abyss and go to destruction. Those who live on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast that was, and is not, and will be present again. (Revelation 17:8)

Yom Hamelech – the Day of the Coronation of the King

Coronation of the King

Then I saw in the right hand of the One seated on the throne a scroll with writing on the inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. I also saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or even to look in it. And I cried and cried because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or even to look in it.

Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop crying. Look! The Lion from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has been victorious so that He may open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw One like a slaughtered lamb standing between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth. He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of the One seated on the throne.

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song:

You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because You were slaughtered,
and You redeemed people
for God by Your blood
from every tribe and language
and people and nation.
You made them a kingdom
and priests to our God,
and they will reign on the earth.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands. They said with a loud voice:

The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy

to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing!

I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say:

Blessing and honor and glory and dominion
to the One seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.(Revelation 5)

The time of Jacob’s trouble

The time of Jacob's trouble

While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

Then Jesus replied to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many. You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these events are the beginning of birth pains. (Matthew 24:3-8)

Yom Hakeseh – The Hidden Day

For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock. (Psalm 27:5)

Open the gates of righteousness for me;
I will enter through them
and give thanks to the Lord.
This is the gate of the Lord;
the righteous will enter through it. (Psalm 118:19-20)

After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was set there in heaven. One was seated on the throne, and the One seated looked like jasper and carnelian stone. A rainbow that looked like an emerald surrounded the throne. (Revelation 4:1-3)

The Wedding of Messiah

Eagles Arise International Ministries provides eschatology-related information to the global community – through the Rapture and End Times website.

Millions of people around the world turn to God every day for answers. They’re looking for truth, for something that can fill their emptiness and make them whole again; they ask questions like: ‘Do I matter? ‘Is there a God?’ ‘What’s my purpose in life?’

is there a god ani

Multi-million dollar question: what does it cost to put on a mass evangelism event like Billy Graham’s crusades? You have to rent a stadium, advertise your event, and hire people to help you setup and tear down. Plus, you’ll need to coordinate hundreds of volunteers to help.

But, even people in poverty-stricken countries can now afford a relatively cheap phone or tablet. It doesn’t matter what they buy, all these devices will be capable and functional enough to give them an accurate presentation on who He really was–and continues being today!

When Jesus gave the commandment, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation,’ the disciples were on foot. There was no television, no radio, no airplanes, and certainly no internet. The difference between 2,000 years ago and today is immense! Not only do we have Web technology at our disposal but also social media platforms where people from around the world come together online every day looking for answers.

The internet is a powerful tool that we can use to reach people with the Gospel. It can be used in so many ways to reach people all over the world, and it’s only getting better with each passing day! We reach millions effectively across cultures and demographics – without geographical boundaries!

What if you could change someone’s life with just one message? That is what we strive for here at Rapture and End Times. We want to meet people in their moment of need, and give them hope when they desperately need it most!

We are expanding our mission field to reach people we might never have the chance of touching in person. They need to know that Jesus Christ is the only One who gives us true purpose and fulfills our greatest need.

With dark forces arrayed against us, we must be ever-watchful for the return of our Lord. At this crucial moment in history it is more important than ever that Christians have freedom to express their beliefs without fear. We are independent and can’t be cancelled. The need for fact-based Biblical analysis with an international perspective on critical events has never been greater. When you support Rapture and End Times, you support Christian freedom of expression at a time when it’s under direct attack.

We are in the final moments. We have a chance to reach people before it is too late! There’s never been a better opportunity to preach the gospel than right now, before our access expires! 44,000 people perish each day without hearing the Good News. Please lend your support by donating today so God can bring eternal life through His Son.

Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38)

Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

Give to them, and don’t have a stingy heart when you give, and because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you do. (Deuteronomy 15:10)

  1. Its great that you have referred to 1Thess 4:15-18 as the last great harvest, for there must be other raptures earlier, during the Seal and Trumpet judgments. Many raptures gives new Christians, those coming to believe after the first rapture, hope. God wants all to come to the knowledge of truth. 1Tim 2:4
Knowing they still have hope of escaping the next disastrous judgement will save many souls during the wrap-up of the age.
Could modern Biblical scholars have misinterpreted 1Cor. 15:50-52? Could it mean the individual will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, instead of all Christians, all over the world, all at once? Is there scriptural back-up for this interpretation, only one rapture? Perhaps all Christians at that time will be changed and taken to heaven. People coming to believe during the Seal and Trumpet judgments will need hope more than anyone ever.
The Bible gives more than twenty other points to indicate that Christians, even new Christians will have hope in being raptured during the Seal and Trumpet judgments.
I have put them into book form, not yet published, Exit Above Ground.
Thanks for considering this new idea. Dennis Leach

    1. The signs that Jesus gave us that would immediately proceed His coming for His bride, the church are happening in abundance all around us since the moment we left 2019 and entered 2020. Famines in Africa from the plague of locusts and the pestilence that has come upon the entire world to the increase in earthquake activity. This coming September the Feast of trumpets, the next feast day to be fulfilled will end at sundown in Jerusalem on September 20th when the shofar is blown in all the synagogues and temples thruout Israel. This will be the “last trump” mentioned in I Corinthians 15:51-52 calling the church home. The rapture will trigger the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39 and then the AC will rise to broker the peace confirming the covenant with many spoken of in Daniel 9. I personally have no doubts that this will be the month and year of our deliverance. He WILL come a a thief to those not watching for His appearance.

      1. The last trump is blown on the Sabbath this year September 18th at midnight. Matthew 25 would mirror this as well. It might be interesting to watch live from the Wailing Wall the events leading up to this on that day. Leviticus 23 is specific to what day the event should take place even though the culture allows up to the 20th. Just something to keep in mind. 🙂

      2. The scripture in Matt 24 and in Mark 13 that no man knows the day or the hour have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the rapture. There is nothing in the Olivet Discourse that even remotely alludes to the rapture. To ascertain to the four disciples He was speaking to the certainty that all He had told them would come to pass, Jesus said; “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word will never pass.” Then almost as an after thought He said, “But of THAT day and hour knoweth no man, not the angels in heaven, but only the Father.” The word THAT must always have a subject to it and so reading in context as we must always do, His reference to “THAT day and hour” HAD to be to that which He’d just said. The day and hour heaven and earth would pass way. Read Revelation 21:1 and Isaiah 66. Heaven and earth WILL pass away. WHEN? See Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32.

  2. What I will add only props up what you have – Question #1 – Rapture on the feast of trumpet? Yes. If I am correct there are 3 tentative watches for the feast to begin. Two witnesses watch for the new moon crest, then alert the trumpets to sound. This could happen on the 1st watch. If not, for reasons of clouds, rain, or other .. a 2nd watch happens the next evening … if that fails too , the 3rd watch (or 3rd evening) is selected as the 1st of the new year. (Keep that in mind and continue) – I have read the following scriptures many times, but only recently applied it to the feast of trumpets! … Luke 12: 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come*, he would have watched, and* not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Question #2 – In the year 2020? There is strong evidence that it could be 2020. We know that end time prophecy has Israel as the key, right! Well, Christ talked to the disciples about the end times and said this – Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. So, with that statement, He included the 7 year tribulation. Now we come to some logical reasoning … How long is a generation? I opted to go to Psalm 90 – It starts off talking about “generations” and lays it out in verse 10 “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they are fourscore years, yet is their strength, labour and sorrow , for it is soon cut off and we fly away”. ( I kind of like the way he ended that) … The point being eighty years is the maximum days according to David and I believe he wrote that in reference to the length of a generation? If that is the case? And if Israel is the key and Israel became re-born in May 1948, Then an eighty years generation would end in May 2028. Subtract seven years for a tribulation and you have May 2021 … So, if the rapture (pre-trib) is to happen on the Feast of Trumpets, it would have to be in 2020, because if it happened in 2021 the days of “tribulation” would exceed the day of the “generation”. Yeah, I know … No man knows the hour and day … but hey? Isn’t that what they call the Feast of Trumpets?

      1. Not meaning any disrespect Mary but I don’t agree that there is any scripture that says that we cannot LEARN the day and hour of the rapture. The scripture in Matt 24 and in Mark 13 that no man knows the day or the hour have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the rapture. There is nothing in the Olivet Discourse that even remotely alludes to the rapture. Read both chapters yourself and see if anything has any reference to the rapture. Jesus has just told the four disciples all the signs that would precede His return to the earth (the parousia not the rapture) including the events of the tribulation. 2. These dates are also consistent with what Jesus and Paul told us, in 1 Thess 4:13-18 for Paul, and Jesus, in Matthew 24:32-35… the generation that saw Israel become a nation again, which happened in 1948, would be the generation that would see Jesus’ return at the end of the Great Tribulation Age… the Baby Boomer generation, which is from 1946 to 1961. My generation. My brother was born in 1946. He’ll be 75 on September 6th of this year. Another 4 years, and he’ll be 79 years old on Feast of Trumpets. According to Psalm 90:10, the length of a generation is 70-80 years. I’m 64 next month, born in 1957. I’ll be 68 by then. It ALL comes together in the year 2025!

      3. Psalm 90 gives us a period of 10 years to a generation since everyone in the same generation is not the same age. Adding 70 to the birth of Israel gave 2018, then less 7 years for the trib which we will not be her for gave 2011. BUT, God being so merciful and long suffering, not wanting any to perish would use the larger of the 2 numbers He gave us to allow more to be saved. So adding 80 to 1948 is 2028, the year for all things to be fulfilled then minus 7 years brings us to 2021. The rapture should occur September 8th as the Feast of trumpets ends in Israel. From that date to the end of the year is about FOUR months for the events to transpire leading up to the start date of the tribulation, still some time in the last quarter of 2021. The scripture in the Olivet Discourse of no man knows the day or the hour has absolutely nothing to due with the rapture of the church, but to the passing of heaven and earth. Read the scripture in context. Nothing in Matthew 24 has anything to do with the rapture.

    1. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places”.

As we continue to focus our attention on the enormity of one of the signs that Jesus told us would precede His coming for us, that of pestilences, it’s easy to overlook the sign that immediately precedes it. Its fulfillment is continuing on and intensifying in places I never expected it to go. Read this and see if your belief about whether this is the year or not increases a little.

this year also saw the emergence of one of the worst locust plagues in decades.
On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, people are buzzing about the fact that swarms of locusts measuring miles in length, some of them as large as major cities have already ravaged countries in East Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia and have now made their way to Europe.

Farms on the Italian island of Sardinia are now being ravaged by desert locusts and one British news source is using the term “biblical plague” to describe what is happening…In a situation reminiscent of a biblical plague, the insects have stripped large areas of the island’s agricultural regions of crops. When the locusts descend upon a farm they can literally eat everything there in as little as 30 seconds.

The epicenter is formed by the municipalities of Orani, Ottana and Bolotana in the Tirso valley, with insects having arrived from the Middle East and Africa, where 23 countries are experiencing similar problems. As they destroy crops, millions more face the prospect of famine and these swarms could continue to thrive and spread well into 2021.

      Locusts in the Bible
“For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left. So there remained nothing green on the trees or on the plants of the field throughout all the land of Egypt.” Exodus 10:15

  4. For those that say “No man knows the day or the hour” ABSOLUTELY cannot refer to rapture, then you are stuck. Are you trying to say that in Revelation 11 -13, where it tells us DOWN TO THE DAY when Messiah returns, counted off when the Abomination of Desolation happens (2 Thes. 2) that THAT is the day that no man knows? Obviously, it cannot be. We are told as generally “times, a time and half a time.” We are told “forty-two months.” And we are told ” one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” That is for the Son of Man coming in the clouds. Pretty specific.

Therefore, logically, you are left with the meaning ONLY possible for Rapture.

Then to assure them that all He has said will come to pass He says. “Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass” Then almost as an after thought He says, “but of THAT day and hour knoweth no man, not the angels in heaven but only the Father.” THAT day and hour MUST refer to what He’d just said. The day and hour that heaven and earth will pass away. Nothing refers to the rapture. Turn with me to Rev. 21, verse 1. John says,’I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the old heaven and the old earth had passed away.” (Guess Jesus didn’t lie about that). So when will the old heaven and the old earth pass away? Jesus told us. “Of THAT day and hour knoweth no man, not the angels in heaven, but only the Father. NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DAY AND HOUR OF THE RAPTURE!!. Keep reading it until you finally get it. The day and hour of the rapture can be known. Only the year is in question but look at the world around you today and make a good guess. He is even at the door.

  5. Does this site and the people on it believe this?

1” Jesus fulfilled the Spring feast to the very day and even hour over a 50 day period that was given by Yehovah and kept until then?
    2. Do they believe men can take the Fall feast that are fulfilled by Yeshua at His second coming which feast are a 21-22 day period and separate them by months and even 7 years to fit their doctrine? If so give me verse and scripture to prove Yehovah has given you that right?

    1. I’m sorry kennyandSandy. I really don’t understand your question and I would like to. Please elaborate on what you mean by separating the feasts by months and even 7 years..

I believe that only ONE of the fall feasts have to do with His second coming (not the rapture). I believe He will return (The Parousia) on the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) at the end of the tribulation. I believe that Zech.14 is pretty clear about that.

      1. Read Leviticus 23 and 25, and know the Lord’s Feast days… all of them. Do you think Father’s going to ignore Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement in fulfilling those days? Jesus returns on Feast of Trumpets at the end of the Great Tribulation Age, holds His Bema Seat Judgment on Day of Atonement, and then on Feast of Tabernacles, He will establish the Millennial Reign.

      2. Rhonda, I believe the rapture will be the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets. The following feast, The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) will be fulfilled in the midst of the week by the nation of Israel who must make a terrible atonement for having rejected their messiah on His first visitation to the earth and for all the days and years since. Zechariah 13 says that only one-third of Israel will survive. Two-thirds will perish. Truly a horrible atonement. The final feast will be fulfilled by the return of Our Lord to the earth, Zechariah 14 says that all the nations of the earth (during the millennial kingdom) MUST present themselves in Jerusalem once every year for the thousand years to commemorate The Feast of Tabernacles. Why only that one feast day? Because it is the day that Jesus returns to re-claim the earth when His foot cleves the Mt of Olives and we will commemorate that day every year for one thousand years. That is how the final 3 feast days will be fulfilled.

    2. The problem is that they’re using the wrong calendar… the pagan Gregorian calendar, which is a 365-day solar calendar. The correct calendar is the Essenes calendar, recently re-discovered by Dr. Ken Johnson, in the Dead Sea Scrolls. This is the calendar that the Essenes, and even Jesus Himself, used. It is a 364-day solar calendar. The solstices and equinoxes divide the 90-day, or 3-month seasons, as an additional day in between those seasons, adding up to 364 days. When we use this calendar, everything aligns up correclty.

  6. Love that you stick to Scripture. Remember that Jesus said, “if you obey my teachings you are my disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” Paul said to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Eph 2:8 says it is by grace through faith, you are saved. But James said I’ll show you my faith by what I do. Rom 10 tell us we must confess and believe. Don’t let those that hear the word be deceived and think that they have no obligation to obey the one that saved them. God bless you for your ministry in serving the Lord God Almighty, through Christ Jesus His Son.

  7. Dear brothers, just a few words. All the feasts are not the “Jewish feasts”, the bible clearly states that they are the “feasts of the Lord”, because God stablish all of them. God gave all that feasts not to the Jewish, but to Israel, his people, and Israel is composed by twelve tribes, not just one or two. And also, according to the bible, the covenant that God made was with anybody that become a believer in the only true God of Israel and obey his commandments, not only believe but believe and obey, both together. God defines faith as obedience, nor just a mental or spiritual practice, but a practical one, so he said: “If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I…..”. All his promises were (and still are) conditional, He promised belonging and blessing by faith, but faith means obedience.
Also, Jesus Christ was a teacher of the law of Moses – That’s why He was called “Rabbi” and the reason why he was allowed to enter to a synagogue and read the scrolls, and the reason why he wasn’t murdered by the “bad” pharisees (because there were good ones, like Paul, and Joseph of Arimathea to mention two) during His ministry, because Jesus Christ never taught anything against the law of Moses. How can the “Word of God”, the one that spoke to Moses from the burning bush can deny what He gave to his people? Jesus Christ is the “incarnated Word of God”, so he didn’t come to destroy the law but to fulfil the law. That means to give His people the real meaning of His commandments:

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Mat. 5:17-20
