In an earthshaking Middle East development, the United States has begun secretly evacuating the tactical nuclear weapons it had stockpiled at the southern Turkish air base of Incirlik and is transporting them to US bases in Romania.

The Obama administration has thus taken another step towards folding its tents in the Middle East.

In contrast, Moscow is rapidly expanding its air force footprint in the region with a new base in Iran following its facility in Syria. Advanced bombers and fighters are stepping up operations in both countries, while Russian warships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles gather in the Mediterranean and Caspian Seas.

DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources report that Washington decided to remove the nuclear arsenal to safety after talks between American and Turkish talks on release 1,500 US airmen serving at the base from the siege clamped down a month ago broke down. The airmen were running the US air campaign against ISIS in in Syria just 112km away.

The document written by the Interior Ministry was a confidential answer to a question posed by Die Linke (the Left Party) in the German parliament (Bundestag). “The numerous affirmations of solidarity and support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, for Hamas and for armed Islamist opposition groups in Syria by the ruling AKP party and president Erdogan underscore their ideological affinity to their Muslim brothers,” the document states, cited by The Local.

 

A senior member of the Russian parliament, Viktor Ozerov, has suggested that Ankara invite the Russian air force to operate from Turkey’s Incirlik airbase, which is used by the US-led coalition against ISIS. The base built mostly from US and NATO budgets also holds several dozen US tactical nuclear bombs. Ozerov, a member of the Russian parliament’s defense and security committee, was quoted on Tuesday as saying “It is not guaranteed that Russia needs İncirlik, but such a decision could be regarded as Turkey’s real readiness to cooperate with Russia in the fight against terrorism in Syria.” He also said “Turkey can provide the Incirlik base to the Russian Aerospace Forces for its use in counterterrorism operations (in Syria). This can become a logical continuation of Turkish President Erdogan’s step toward Russia.”

The BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) remain potent players in the global market. Their economic potential is far from exhausted and the US dollar is already feeling the pinch, German economist Ernst Wolff told Sputnik.

Ernst Wolf said that the BRICS Bank was putting on muscle and that the US was becoming increasingly wary of this.

“The problem is, however, that the New Development Bank is working as part of the dollar system where the US Federal Reserve enjoys the exclusive right to print dollars. This is how the Americans have managed to bring the whole world to heel,” Ernst Wolff emphasized.

Alternate world currency?

“This is something the Americans are trying to prevent. There have been attempts to break free from this dollar system. Saddam Hussein wanted to sell his oil for euros. Muammar Gaddafi wanted to introduce a gold denominated currency. Both these attempts fell though and their authors are dead. Which means that the Americans are ready to go at any length to keep this system intact,” Wolff noted.

He also warned about the “dramatic geopolitical consequences” of attempts to phase out the dollar.

Ezekiel chapters 38-39 that prophesy that Russia, along with several Arab and North African nations, will rally together in these last days and mount a massive military operation against the Nation of Israel. Ezekiel prophesies that a “hook in the jaw” will be placed in Russia’s mouth and she will be dragged into this war. This Ezekiel war is being prepared right now.

What will happen next? Does the Bible give us clues?

The Bible describes this imminent battle in exacting detail:

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia,Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops-many people are with you. (Ezekiel 38:1-6)

“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”‘ (Ezekiel 38:18-23)

The Bible describes the destruction of Israel’s enemies as total and complete. Workers will need to spend seven years just to clean the fields of bodies and weapons:

Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years. (Ezekiel 39:9)

Many readers miss the fact that these seven years are the Tribulation years, and are a clue as to the timing and sequence of the End Times.
