Rapture and End Times

When will the Rapture and the last 7 years of the Tribulation occur? Today’s headlines are alarming, to say the least. The news of the world includes some critical signs pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church.

These include increasing “birth pains,” the invasion of Israel, a Middle East peace plan, the rise of the Beast and the False Prophet, increasing apostasy and the formation of a one-world government, global persecution of Christians, and the roll-out of the Mark of the Beast. In this post, we will examine the latest traction around fulfillment of these signs, and connect the dots.

1. Increasing “birth pains”

While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

Then Jesus replied to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many. You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these events are the beginning of birth pains. (Matthew 24:3-8)

“Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves. People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!” (Luke 21:25-28)

The birthing example in Revelation 12 can help us to understand what is happening right now.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth… She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. (Revelation 12:1-2,5)

We have seen the incredible hardship on millions of people, including Christians, just in the last few years, with non-stop wars, natural disasters, global social upheavals, and economic devastation.

Summer 2022 has indeed seemed to feature one climate-related disaster after another.

From flooding in Pakistan and the US to wildfires in Spain and Portugal, the summer of 2022 has seen one climate-related disaster after another.

While climate change does not directly cause heavy rainfall or drought, it makes these naturally occurring events more intense or severe.

Global warming increases the evaporation of surface waters into the atmosphere, drying areas with little rain and increasing rainfall in others.

But natural variability means that extremes will shift to new locations as global temperatures increase.

Record-breaking heat waves baked India and Pakistan, then monsoon flooding left about a third of Pakistan under water, affecting an estimated 33 million people. Temperatures exceeded 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 Celsius) for prolonged periods in many places, and even broke 122 F (50 C) in Jacobabad, Pakistan, in May.

The Asian heat helped to melt some glaciers in the Himalayas, elevating rivers. At the same time, three times the normal annual rain fell in Pakistan during the weekslong monsoon. More than 1,500 people died in the flooding, an estimated 1.8 million homes were damaged or destroyed, and hundreds of thousands of livestock were lost. Food for the coming seasons will be in short supply.

Extreme heat in Europe led to wildfires, especially in Spain and Portugal. The drought in Spain dried up a reservoir, revealing the long-submerged “Spanish Stonehenge,” an ancient circle of megalithic stones believed to date back to around 5000 B.C. Electricity generation in France plummeted, with low rivers reducing the ability to cool nuclear power towers, and German barges had difficulty finding enough water to navigate the Rhine River.

In the United States, the West and the Midwest suffered through intense heat waves, and the crucial Colorado River reservoirs Lake Powell and Lake Mead hit record lows, triggering water restrictions. Yet, the country also saw major disruptive flooding in several cities and regions, from Death Valley to the mountains of eastern Kentucky.

In China, heat waves and drought stretched over eight weeks and dried up parts of the Yangtze River to the lowest level since at least 1865 – until parts of the same area were inundated with flooding rains in August.

2. The invasion of Israel

God, do not keep silent.

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, turn your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him and say: This is what the Lord God says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with all your army, including horses and riders, who are all splendidly dressed, a huge company armed with shields and bucklers, all of them brandishing swords. Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shields and helmets; Gomer with all its troops; and Beth-togarmah from the remotest parts of the north along with all its troops—many peoples are with you.

“Be prepared and get yourself ready, you and all your company who have been mobilized around you; you will be their guard. After a long time you will be summoned. In the last years you will enter a land that has been restored from war and regathered from many peoples to the mountains of Israel, which had long been a ruin. They were brought out from the peoples, and all of them now live securely. You, all of your troops, and many peoples with you will advance, coming like a thunderstorm; you will be like a cloud covering the land. (Ezekiel 38:1-9)

‘400 seconds’ to Tel Aviv: Iranian media publishes Hebrew hypersonic missile threat The Jerusalem Post, November 14, 2022

Iran’s Sobh-e-Sadegh newspaper published a threat in Hebrew on its front page on Monday, warning that a new Iranian hypersonic missile could reach Israel in 400 seconds.

“400 seconds: General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force, said that Iran has obtained technology for hypersonic missiles,” wrote the newspaper, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

An article written by Hamza Pariyab, described as a defense expert, said the new missile was a “game changer,” as it can avoid most modern-day missile-defense systems.

The missile could be used to take out a country’s defense systems and open the way for a mass launch of drones and missiles, he wrote.

Pariyab also referenced a letter sent by Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, the “father” of Iran’s missile program, to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, which referenced the acquisition of a “quick response super-fast missile.”

3. A Middle East peace plan that allows for the Temple to be rebuilt

He will make a firm covenant
with many for one week,
but in the middle of the week
he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering.
And the abomination of desolation
will be on a wing of the temple
until the decreed destruction
is poured out on the desolator. (Daniel 9:27)

One of the critical signs are pointing to the Tribulation and the imminent Rapture of the Church is a comprehensive peace plan (a covenant with the Antichrist) that allows the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. We believe that this Peace Treaty will begin the dark one “week” or 7 year period called the Tribulation, and that this will start very shortly. The Rapture will occur before then.

2022 is shaping up to be a huge year for the Abraham Accords, not the least of which being the opening of the Abrahamic Family House in the fall. Why are nearly all of the end times Bible prophecy sites and Bible teachers so silent on the Abraham Accords?

Christian evangelicals have swallowed the end times bait hook, line and sinker with regards to the Abraham Accords, mistakenly believing the Accords will bring about peace in the Middle East, they will most assuredly not. But Evangelicals are not the only ones, the Abraham Accords have become the de facto tool used in political, financial and economic matters between Israel and their Muslim neighbors. End times author and Messianic Christian Joel Rosenberg is giddy with excitement at the prospect of helping to advance the Abraham Accords, but all he is doing is helping prepare the way for Antichrist.

“Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. 4. The rise of the Beast and the False Prophet

You said to yourself:
“I will ascend to the heavens;
I will set up my throne
above the stars of God.
I will sit on the mount of the gods’ assembly,
in the remotest parts of the North.
I will ascend above the highest clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:13-14)

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: We ask you, brothers,  not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against him?”

A mouth was given to him to speak boasts and blasphemies. He was also given authority to act for 42 months. He began to speak blasphemies against God: to blaspheme His name and His dwelling—those who dwell in heaven. And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered. (Revelation 13:4-8)

Erdogan meets with US, France and Saudi Arabia leaders at G20 Summit TRT World, November 16, 2022

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held one-on-one meetings with US, France and Saudi Arabia leaders to discuss bilateral and regional issues on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia.

Leaders representing the world’s largest economies have gathered in Bali for the first day of the two-day summit on Tuesday to discuss issues impacting the global economy.

Relations between Ankara and Washington have been strained in recent years due to US cooperation with the terrorist group YPG/PKK in Syria, its failure to extradite the wanted ringleader of the Fetullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO), disagreements over Türkiye’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 air defence system and Washington’s sanctions on Ankara.

The US has said it is cooperating with the YPG/PKK in northern Syria to fight the terrorist group Daesh, but Turkish officials say using one terrorist group to fight another makes no sense, morally or otherwise.

During the closed-door meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Joe Biden, Biden said that his government will continue to support the potential sale of F-16 fighter jets to Türkiye.

The leaders also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly trade and security issues, and regional developments, according to a Turkish Communications Directorate statement.

Biden thanked Erdogan for his efforts to help remove obstacles in the Istanbul grain deal and to resume the exports from Ukrainian ports, the statement said.

The grain deal with Russia is crucial to ease disruptions to global food supplies. It is set to expire on Saturday but global leaders are hoping it would be extended with the help of Ankara’s and UN’s moderation.

While the Biden administration views the grain deal as critical to improving global food security, the White House said “the initiative must continue”.

The Bible shows that the Antichrist will be a peace maker and will be very wise in the beginning of his rule. At first the Antichrist will seem to solve many of the world’s problems and he will be considered great in the eyes of most in the world.

 

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me: “Come, I will show you the judgment of the notorious prostitute who sits on many waters. The kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and those who live on the earth became drunk on the wine of her sexual immorality.” So he carried me away in the Spirit to a desert. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and 10 horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls. She had a gold cup in her hand filled with everything vile and with the impurities of her prostitution.

On her forehead a cryptic name was written:

BABYLON THE GREAT
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE VILE THINGS OF THE EARTH.

Then I saw that the woman was drunk on the blood of the saints and on the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

Then the angel said to me, “Why are you astonished? I will tell you the secret meaning of the woman and of the beast, with the seven heads and the 10 horns, that carries her. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up from the abyss and go to destruction. Those who live on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast that was, and is not, and will be present again.

Pope Francis says Abu Dhabi document ‘came from God’ and you ‘can’t understand it otherwise’ LifeSiteNews November 7, 2022

Pope Francis defended his controversial Abu Dhabi document which claimed that “diversity of religions” is “willed by God,” saying that it was “something that came from God.”

In an interview during his return flight from Bahrain on Sunday, Francis answered a question regarding the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and living together,” which the Pope signed together with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in Abu Dhabi in 2019.

“I have been thinking a lot these days – and we talked about it with the Grand Imam – about how the idea of the Abu Dhabi Document came about,” Francis said.

The Pope went on to explain how the idea of the Abu Dhabi document was born during a lunch with the Grand Imam where they broke bread and gave it to each other as a “gesture of friendship.”

“And towards the end, I don’t know who came up with the idea, we said, ‘Why don’t we make a paper about this meeting?’” Francis stated. “So the Abu Dhabi document was born.”

The Abu Dhabi document has been widely criticized by faithful Catholics for putting the Catholic faith and its worship of the God of Revelation on the same plane with religions that do not worship the true God and deliberately reject Him. It also contradicts the teaching according to which there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church.

Pope Francis made a stipulation in a private conversation with Kazakhstan’s Bishop Athanasius Schneider, saying that the diversity of religion falls under the “Permissive Will” of God, rather than his Perfect Will, meaning that God only allows false religions to exist rather than actively willing them.

Schneider stressed that the Pope must publicly correct the “dubious passage concerning the ‘diversity of religions” and that a private comment is not enough “because of the confusion in the Church that is growing daily concerning the truth that the Faith in Jesus Christ as the only Redeemer of mankind is the only religion directly and positively willed by God.”

Chrislam is our 21st century act of syncretism, by trying to promote a culturally designed combination religion of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism in the interest of peace. This interfaith apostasy is our modern version of the worship of the golden calf (created by Aaron as a combination of  the Egyptian bull deity and the God of Israel). The Lord ordered Moses to go down the mountain at once to stop this abomination.

The stated goal of the “Chrislam” interfaith movement was to promote understanding between different religions to increase acceptance of others, and to facilitate cooperation between faiths for humanitarian service projects. The actual result is the preaching of Islam in many Christian churches – and the beginnings of a umbrella organization that will ultimately form a one-world religion.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now. (1 John 4:1-3)

Bible prophecy foretells a 10-nation military alliance that will rise out of a revived Roman Empire (the European Union) and will come under the control of the Antichrist (Daniel 7:23-24). Unknown to many Christians, a 10-nation military alliance appeared in Europe in 1995, called the Western European Union (or the Brussels Treaty Powers).

These 10 nations are members of both NATO and the European Union. What bound them together was a mutual defense obligation under Article Five of the modified Brussels Treaty, which meant that an attack against one would be an attack against all.

Yet, on March 31, 2010, the 10 nations announced that they had agreed to terminate their alliance and transfer the Western European Union’s powers to the European Union – which, under the Lisbon Treaty, has developed a mutual defense obligation that includes all the EU member states.

Religious leaders gather in Sinai to receive “Climate Justice Ten Commandments” Isreal365 News November 7, 2022

Some 40,000 attendees have flocked to the Sinai Desert including over 100 world leaders as well as leaders in business and other sectors. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other religious figures will participate in a UN conference on climate change that is taking place this week and next. In conjunction with the UN event, a group of faith leaders is taking an alternative approach, seeking a faith-based solution to the ecological crisis by promoting the “Ten Principles for Climate Justice” in a global initiative.

The multifaith initiative- led by the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development (ICSD), The Elijah Interfaith Institute, andthe Peace Department – is part of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which is taking place in the Sinai Peninsula, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from November 6-18.

According to the Interfaith Center, the location of COP27 is especially meaningful because the Sinai Desert is “a place of revelation in the collective consciousness of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and others. It is a site for turning to God and receiving God’s message,” as they explained in a press release.

On Sunday, the organization will hold a “Climate Repentance Ceremonies” and “put forth a prophetic interreligious call to action.”

The partnering organizations initially intended to hold the Climate Repentance Ceremony and Ten Commandments events at Jebel Musa in the southern Sinai Peninsula.

6. Global Persecution of Christians

Christians all around the world are facing extreme persecution. 11 people are killed because of their faith in Christ each and every day. In fact, the number of Christians facing persecution around the world has increased by the tens of millions in the last year alone.

Media Tries To Equate Christian Watchman With Christian Nationalism Prophecy News Watch, November 7, 2022

Christian leaders have long held that the Left coined the term “Christian nationalism” as a pejorative to stop believers from speaking about national issues. “They are stretching that term to suggest that anyone bringing faith into the public square is advocating for ‘Christian nationalism,'” said Family Research Council President Tony Perkins at a recent townhall on the topic.

Christians should recognize the term “Christian nationalism” as a part of a “campaign designed to delegitimize you,” Stephen Coughlin of Unconstrained Analytics and a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute told the townhall. “It directly attacks American Christians for being American Christians, for being politically active. As such, it’s an attack on identity. It denies your right” to express a faith-informed point of view.

Yet uncontroversial expressions of faith might land Christians under federal investigation, if the Religious Left has its way. A group of left-wing denominational leaders calling itself Christians Against Christian Nationalism asked the January 6 Commission “to thoroughly investigate the role that Christian nationalism played” in the one-day D.C. riot.

Signatories include the leaders of the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the United Church of Christ, and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, as well as critical race theorist Jemar Tisby and Sojourners founder Jim Wallis.

The coalition — which has partnered with the Freedom From Religion Foundation — described its members as “Christian leaders who are deeply concerned about Christian nationalism and its danger not only to our constitutional democracy but in its distortion of Christianity.”

The ill-defined term “Christian nationalism” has enjoyed a boom of media coverage in the lead-up to the 2022 midterms, almost universally negative. The New Republic brands the beliefs as an “authoritarian political ideology.” Time calls Christian nationalism “the greatest threat to democracy in America today.”

7. The roll-out of the Mark of the Beast

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

British Microchip Implant Takes Hand-Swipe Payments to Next Level, Along with End Times Prophecy Concerns CBN News May 12, 2022

Implantable chips in humans are not new, but for the last several years, the push to market them to a dubious population has escalated.

Now, a company in the United Kingdom has developed a new chip that allows you to pay on the same reader as a credit card. When a person with an implanted chip wants to pay for a product or service using a credit card reader, they simply place their hand with the chip next to the card reader and the payment is made.

While some companies have implemented similar chip implants for internal company functions, the British-Polish firm called Walletmor says that last year it became the first company to offer them for sale to the general population, according to the BBC.

“The implant can be used to pay for a drink on the beach in Rio, a coffee in New York, a haircut in Paris – or at your local grocery store,” said Walletmor founder and chief executive Wojtek Paprota. “It can be used wherever contactless payments are accepted.”

The company’s chip weighs less than a gram and is a little larger than a grain of rice. Inside the device are a tiny microchip and an antenna encased in a biopolymer. It uses near-field communication or NFC, the same payment system available on your smartphone.

Paprota told the BBC that it is entirely safe, has regulatory approval, works immediately after being implanted, and will stay firmly in place. It also does not require a battery or other power source.

Walletmor says it has now sold more than 500 of the chips.

Even though a little more than half of 4,000 people across the U.K. and the European Union told a survey last year they would consider having a chip implanted, they also brought privacy and security issues.

“Chip implants contain the same kind of technology that people use on a daily basis,” Paumen explained to the BBC. “From key fobs to unlock doors, public transit cards like the London Oyster card, or bank cards with contactless payment function.”

The Walletmor founder is also trying to calm fears about tracking, saying the chip would not allow anyone to be tracked since the implant isn’t made that way.

Last December, a video highlighting the chip implant efforts containing a so-called vaccine passport by a Swedish company went viral sparking new fears and outrage across social media. Around 6,000 people in Sweden have had a chip inserted in their hands since 2014, according to Euronews.com. Swedes have swapped out carrying keys, train tickets, and ID Cards for the convenience of an embedded microchip.

Already we are constantly hearing about the “New World Order”, or “global community”, and these buzz slogans are slowly sinking in as the world heads towards an international financial and political system, a cashless society controlled by a computer data base that covers the entire globe, keeping track of every man, woman and child, where they cross borders and when they buy and sell–exactly like the one predicted in Revelation chapter 13 nearly 2,000 years ago!

According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

If you are not sure that you are a member of the family of God, you can accept Christ into your life right now, by praying:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior.”
