Returning a visit made by the pope to Turkey in 2014, Erdogan spoke privately with Francis for about 50 minutes in the pontiff’s frescoed study in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace, which he uses mostly for ceremonial purposes.
A Vatican statement said the talks included ”the status of Jerusalem, highlighting the need to promote peace and stability in the region (Middle East) through dialogue and negotiation, with respect for human rights and international law.”
The Vatican backs a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, with both sides agreeing on the status of Jerusalem – home to sites holy to the Muslim, Jewish and Christian religions – as part of the peace process.

Said al-Haj, a researcher on Turkish affairs in Istanbul, told Al-Monitor, “Turks are opposed to the US agenda on the Palestinian cause. Turkey will work on turning its supportive statements for the Palestinians into financial figures and qualitative aid. It is negotiating with Arab and Muslim states in its capacity as leader of the OIC, thus strengthening its stance. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited the Vatican Feb. 5 to garner support for aiding the Palestinians.”
Twenty countries attended the international conference titled “Jerusalem: The City Blessed by Revelation” in Istanbul Jan. 29. Also attending were Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag; head of the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs Ali Erbas; and Palestinian Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs Yusuf Adaeis. In addition to raising the Jerusalem issue in the educational curricula in the Muslim world, the conference intended to promote interest in Jerusalem and reject Trump’s declaration to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to move the US Embassy there.

AMMAN, Jordan — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has stepped up his recently launched diplomatic offensive on future peace negotiations, including by emphasizing the need for Moscow to reassert a balancing role in the Middle East conflict.
The model that Abbas and the rest of the Palestinian leadership are trying to emulate is that of Iran that resulted in the nuclear agreement. In that process, the international community was represented by the P5+1 — that is, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council including China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States — plus Germany.
As “watchmen on the wall” we want to alert you to an upcoming comprehensive Arab-Israeli Peace Agreement. This international peace treaty is the major End Times sign, and indicates the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation. It is the prophetic trip wire that is more critical than any other modern sign.
What is wrong with a “peace and security” agreement? Who would not want peace, especially Israel, who is surrounded by potential enemies? What does the Word say?
And the Lord responded: “Look, I am making a covenant. I will perform wonders in the presence of all your people that have never been done in all the earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring. Observe what I command you today. I am going to drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Be careful not to make a treaty with the inhabitants of the land that you are going to enter; otherwise, they will become a snare among you. Instead, you must tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, and chop down their Asherah poles. You are never to bow down to another god because Yahweh, being jealous by nature, is a jealous God.

Chrislam is our 21st century act of syncretism, by trying to promote a culturally designed combination religion of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism in the interest of peace.
There is a plan to make a one-world religion that would harm us in ways that we do not perceive. God is warning us to not become a part of this fellowship of apostate Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other religions melded together to form a one world religion that all must follow. All this is supposed to be done in the name of PEACE.
We believe that the Beast (along with the Dragon), assisted by the False Prophet, will soon finalize the Israeli-Palestinian “land for peace” treaty, which will allow the Third Temple to be built. This will begin the dark 7 year period called the Tribulation.
As Christians, we obtain our peace and security through Jesus Christ. The fact is that there are irreconcilable conflicts between Christianity and all other religions. Christianity alone makes provision for man’s basic need – the forgiveness of sin.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

The Antichrist will help mediate a peace agreement in the Middle East, especially with Israel. This will be “The Deal with the Devil.” Then, half way through the treaty the Antichrist (or Beast) will enter the Temple and declare himself to be God.
He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week…
What did Jesus Christ say about this “abomination of desolation”?
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

We do not think it is a coincidence that the predicted “season” of the Lord’s return will also be the time of great distress on the Earth due to these catastrophic political events. The Lord knows that He needs to rescue His bride at this time.
